I was looking at the old Nashville 400 manual and it shows that the "High" eq was set at around 2kHz. Then is shows that the "Presence" control is a high shelf set at around 5kHz.

On a Nashville 1000 the "High" is at 6kHz and the "Presence" is a shelf at 10kHz. Is that the same change in the 400 mod? Shifting the high and presence up from 2kHz/5kHz to 6kHz/10kHz?

Does anyone miss having a tone control down around 2kHz? With the mid-cut being set most likely around 750Hz, that leaves the whole range from 1kHz to 5kHz totally flat and without control. It hasn't bothered me but I was wondering if anyone has a comment on new EQ setup.

And what does Peavey mean when they refer to the "High" eq as a "Special EQ"?
