Has anyone had the opportunity to try both of these units? Just curious what the difference may be or how much better sounding the superbro is over the matchbro.
Thanks for you comments.

I've had both. Match Bro I had in the 97-98 time frame. It was close.
I had the Super Bro. To me it was the real deal. Sounded great. How ever I couldn't play with any blue grass people because it was electric. So I got a dobro. You want have all the mike problems with the Super bro/ or match bro.

There were a couple of different models of the Matchbro. One had controls where you could vary the sound and another was preset with what most of the players wanted. Also, I believe the "Match Box" was built into it. The Match Box was there even when the dobro effect wasn't. The Super Bro, however, is different. The dobro controls are there and it has a disabling, bypass switch. It can be left in line at all times. I use it in conjunction with the Match Box.
