Anyone use a Sonic Maximizer?

I was wondering if any of y'all use a S.M. in your racks. How does it affect the sound of a steel?

I have a model 862 that I am using with my home stereo system and I love it. I tried it on steel, but could not find anything that I liked. This subject was discussed a few months back, so maybe if you do a search you can find some info. I know some liked it. If you get one and don't like it on the steel, move it to your stereo system and you will be very happy in my opinion.
