Check out how much Doug Beaumier got for his Fender Volume and Tone pedal on Ebay: Click Here
Considering the pedal must be at least 30 years old, one can say that there is substantial demand out there for the dwindling supply of these pedals. |

Believe it or not, I've seen them go for even more than that. |

I have used and had both Bigsby tone and volume pedal and Fender. I found they move from side to side when I don't want to change the tone. I didn't think that part of it was too useful for me.
If the Pedal Steel Builders put the tone and volume controls right on the top, where you can reach it wiht your little finger, Like they are on ALL NON Pedal guitars. It would be very useful. Probably cost them extra but I would pay to have them. I had MSA"s with Vol. and Tone controls, but with a Bypass switch,so you could go direct to the pickup if you wished. I think Emmons has always had them on there....al |

It was my idea to put a tone control with a bypass switch on the endplate of the SlimLine Dekleys because I wanted to do the Boo-Wah thing and/or be able to tweak the tone a little without going to the amp. Shortly thereafter Goodrich came out with their MatchBox which had a tone control on it. No one seemed to like the tone control and I heard of and have seen pictures of Dekleys with the control and switch removed.
20+ years later and I still have never gotten around to doing the Boo-Wah thing. |
