amp to amp

I have a tube-fex and mosvalve in a rack.can I plug the mosvalve into the back of a session 500 ( power amp in ) I guess my question is, does power amp in mean,you can plug a power amp in, or you can plug something in that needs a power amp to carry it. Thanks in advance for your input. BOB

You can not go from the speaker output of one power-amp, and go to the input of another poweramp. This WILL distroy the in-put section of the last power-amp.!!

To go from the tube-fex to the in-put of a power-amp is O.K.

The speaker output jack of any amp should be connected to a speaker only(or proper low impedence device).

Bill, thanks for the assistance here. As Bill stated, the "power amp in" is an "input" into the internal power amplifier section of a Peavey amp. The output of a power amp should never be plugged into any component other than a speaker cabinet.

Severe damage can result from using a power amplifier's output into any component other than a speaker cabinet.
