Does anyone know what a modern equivalent would be for a 251D diode that's used in the rectifier circuit of a Heathkit amp?
Thanks,
Jerry

A typical 1n4007 should work just fine, if in doubt, put 2 in series
there are heavier diodes out there for sure, but I think those should suffice. I've used these in 50, and 100 watt all tube amps with no failures yet.
