I finally managed to find one of these units at a realistic price.

I'm coming line out (stereo) of a Blue Tube II into the line in's on the reverb. Then stereo out's from the reverb to the in's of a Sonic Maximizer 482, then to the amp. I have a Arion analog delay pedal in the effects loop of the Blue Tube. Sound reasonable?

I seem to notice some signal gain when I bypass the reverb, should this be the case? If you guys could share your settings with me, that would be a big help! I'll take whatever you are willing to share on any of the above mentioned pieces of gear.

Thanks

Sam, the hookup you posted sounds good. I have a BOSS SE-50 in the effects loop of my Blue-Tube II. I run into the reverb from the line outs on the preamp and then to the power amp. I don't have a sonic gizmo. My settings are as follows.
In Level 4, Reverb Mix 3 3/4 to 4, Out Level 8, HI 5, MID 5, LO 8. I think it's really important to keep the "IN LEVEL" at 4 or below. If the red lights on the reverb come on, turn down the "IN LEVEL" settings. I hope this helps.

Thanks Leon.

I was wondering where you have your volume set on the Blue Tube?. You are using channel 2 right?

Sam, I use the "Green Channel" on the Blue Tube II. I never turn the volume on that channel above 3 if I'm using the RT-921 spring reverb. If the volume on the Blue Tube II gets higher than 4, it seems to overdrive the reverb inputs and the red lights start iluminating. I run the pots on the effects loop at half way and the input on the BOSS SE-50 is set at +4db. At times I will take the RT-921 spring reverb out of the rack and put in another SE-50 for plate Reverb. The other SE-50 is used for stereo delay. Today I was thinking about a way to set up the rack that I have never tried. I was thinking about coming out of the Blue Tube II "Instrument Level" and go in the RT-921 "Instrument Level" and come out of the RT-921 'Line Level to the power amp. It might not work but it's worth a try. I'll let you know after I try it out tomorrow. My wife has gone to bed and I don't want to disturb her sleep. I Hope this helps. Leon

Sam, You can forget about the "Instrument Level" hook up. I tried it this morning and don't beleive it would give you enough headroom on a gig. I would stay with the "Line Level" hook up.
