I just bought an old Peavey Bandit 65. Should I have an electronics expert do any kind of tune-up ? What would you guys recommend? (I am not an expert.) Replace filter capacitors? Upgrade certain components?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Chris,
If the amplifier is in proper working order, there shouldn't be a need for "routine maintenance". With a transistor amp such as the Bandit, only when the amp developes an audible problem should it need servicing. Enjoy!

No servicing should be required on a Peavey solid state amplifier unless the amp presents an audible problem or unless there is a mechanical failure.

Enjoy!
