Joseph, can you double check for the correct tracking number? The number is invalid on the UPS website. Or, call me toll free here at the factory and I'll meet it on our dock for you. My phone number is toll free at 1-877-732-8391.
One other thing, did you send it on the 22th? If so, the number may not be active in the system yet.

There was nothing major wrong with your Profex II. With your permission, we also installed the Peavey Profex II mod kit. It will ship out tomorrow to you.
Thanks for using Peavey products.
P.S.-Yes, we have always believed that our customers should speak with a live person instead of a machine. |

Joseph,
Please let me know how much the battery was, and shipping there and back...I need to know the Total, because I want to send my Profex 11 down to Mike to have a new battery installed , clean the input knob, and the output level knob, and to add whatever is new on my casch 33 card so I can download the "latest" programs to my sounds.
I really am not trying to be "Nosy", and you DO NOT have to tell me your total, I just need to know how much money I need on hand at the 1st of November.
Thanks, and MIke is ONE COOL PERSON...I APPRECIATE PEOPLE LIKE HIM and the folks at PEAVEY...He helped me at the St. Louis show in 2000 when I worked for Emmons. I ask him how much do I owe him for "CUSTOMIZING" #73, (HUGHEY 1) on my Profex...and he said.."No Charge, I was happy to help You"
What can You say?....Thanks again, Mike, God Bless You.

Hi Ron:
No Problem. I'd be more than happy to give you the info. My Profex ll was the one, owned by the late Mr. Harold Flynn, of Flynn Steel Guitars. When he passed away it became available on the Forum. And I was quite fortunate to have got it. The Profex was in super shape and fit into the rest of my Equipment status. Which I try and keep "nice" so to speak. I've talked to Mike brown before about the problem and was just a little "Gun Shy" about sending it in for repair. I opted to send it regular mail, next day delivery, which ran just a little over 33.00. which I didn't mind paying. then much to my surprise,,,I received a call from Mr. Brown saying that Peavey received my unit. asked a few questions and calmed my fears about the repair. my normal Job is from 4PM to 4Am. Yep 12 hr. days, 6 days a week. as a H.P. Welder. my steel is my way of relaxing and finding some sort of normality in this crazy world. After leaving for work yesterday, Mr. Brown called again, although I wasn't here, he talked with my wife and gave her a ball park figure of Aprox. 85.00, saying that I should have my Profex ll either monday or tuesday. Now Ron,,,considering shipping both ways, bench time of repairs that needed to be done, (which at this time) I'm presumeing new battery and a reload of Newman Presets, and the new Peavey mod kit. all done in Aprox. a week. on a scale of 1 to 10...... this has to be a 10. I'm far from a pro player, although I'm quite happy with where I'm at even at 58 years old. I Dont sound like Lloyd, Buddy, Herbie, John, or Jimmie. I sound like me, and I like that. but as far as the Staff at Peavey, I cant say enough good, not just with the quipment they provide to each of us,,,but from a service stand point. it sure is a breath of fresh air to have the quality, time, and one on one, that has somehow got lost in the fast lane that we live in. I hope this has been some help to you and as for peavey,,,and Mr. Mike Brown,,,the proof is in the pudding...you just cant go wrong.
God Bless and warm regards:
Joe

Joseph,
Thanks so much for you time. I remembered Harold Flynn quite well. I meet him in Louisville, Ky. in 1992, at the Louisville Jam...I had the privilage to play one of his "Top-of-the-line" Flynn guitars. And as for Peavey, and their wonderful staff, I just cannot say enough about their GREAT service. I will be sending my Profex 11 to Mike as soon as I have the extra money. Once again, MANY THANKS, and God Bless You.

Thanks for the compliments. This is the Customer Service that "shines" here at Peavey and we appreciate the support from our customers.
Ron, just give a "heads up" with a tracking number when you get ready so that I will know when your unit arrives.
