I played a gig on a small stage this weekend and didn't have room to set my speaker cabinets side by side, so I stacked them. I was surprised at the sound I got. It sounded pretty good! I use a PFll & MV 500 and two cabs with 1501-4 BWs. Have any of you split speaker players stacked your cabinets??

I had to do that with my Stereo Steel rig last weekend. I missed hearing the separation and it was quite loud in my ears.

I do it when space is tight, but I prefer having some separation. Yesterday I put my speakers on opposite sides of the stage. I could only hear one, but the sound guy said it was great out front.
