Anyone out there that can give me a lead on where I can get a NTE 1286 Chip? It's a 7 pin SIP (single in line pins) 5.8 watt audio amplifier. I need one and this is not a Radio Shack item and need to find some place that does not have a minimum order. I don't think this is a very expensive item . Any help will be appreciated.

Walter, NTE is a standard replacement line of semiconductors and should be available from a local electronic wholesaler who caters to the TV Repair Trade.
A national mail order source is Mouser Electronics: www.mouser.com

I checked my mouser catalog and they sell NTE semiconductors. There are so many of them that all are not listed in the catalog.
It's best to give them a call at:
1-800-346-6873
They do not require a minimum order.
