Can anyone out the tell me the difference between the DTR-1 and the DT-1?

Hey Mike, sorry Bill --the DT-1 (I've got one right here) is pretty much the same as the CA-20 I just replaced it with. It is all LED (no mechanical meter like the Boss TU12), auto-select chromatic, the size of a cassette tape. I think I've had mine since around 1980.
The DTR 1 & 2 are single space rack mount tuners. |

I still use an old DT-1 that I bought at least 10 years ago. Still works perfectly. The DTR is the rack mountable version (hence, the letter R).
I like the little red LED's that are on this unit. They are easy to see on a dark or dimly lit stage.

Those LEDs that are so easy to see in a dark club become invisible at a bright outdoor venue. For that reason I always carry a small tuner with a needle meter.
But the DTR1 can easily be seen across a stage...
