I have an AD/9 delay that I have used for about 18 or 19 years with good results. I don't know if the newer ones are that good or not.

I used an Ibanez DM-1000 digital delay (rack type unit). I used it for about 12 or 13 years and foolishly sold it. It is a digital delay but sounds more like the old analog units.

I've seen Hal Rugg use an Ibanez stomp box type delay at several steel shows.

I had an Ibanez HD 1000 and I'm sorry I sold it.It has a harmonizer section on it which sounds kind of squirrely, but the delay part is great for that tape echo type of sound. The repeats are distorted a bit and have the high end rolled off. A real beefy sounding echo unit.

What's the "asking price" on it?
I have an HD1500. (same as the 1000,just,"new & improved" version.) You can get some "strange" efects on it. Lotza fun.
