I was reading the discussion about the Lawrence 710 vs 910 pickups.
Doesn't someone make a pickup for the 12 string, that with the flip of a switch you can have a great C6 tone or great E9 tone.
I play a Emmons double neck, would love to get a good 12 string, but I'm scared to death, I can't get the exact same tone on E9 when I want, or C6 when I want. Are you 12 string players compromising?
Thank for your help.

Hi Jim:
I play a 12 string universal and I posted the question about the 710 vs the 912 pickup. I use the Goodrich 7A matchbox that has a tone control and when I am in the B6 mode I usually roll off a bit of the highs. I usually play a Sierra and no matter what pickup I use with this guitar I always end up doing the same thing with the Goodrich 7A Matchbox.
