I am new to processors, been reading about profex II here on forum. Does Peavey still sell these? If not a guy told me about Deltafex, is this about same thing or is this used with steels? Thanks in advance, Mike.

Hello Ron,
I'm sorry for not responding sooner but I inadvertantly overlooked your post.

The Profex II has not been manufactured since about 1995. It was a popular product for us in "guitar world" and turned out to be very popular in the steel guitar world. However, since the digital technology world is moving so rapidly, we had to change with it and introduced the Peavey Tubefex shortly afterwards. Then, we designed the Transtube Technology and introduced the Peavey Transtube Fex as well as a complete line of Transtube amps. In 2000, we introduced the Transtube "II" series of guitar amps.

Unfortunately, we haven't used the Transtube II technology in a Peavey steel amp yet. This might be something that is considered in the future.

So, as you can see things move pretty quick in the electronics world and we have to develope and initiate changes as well.
