Would any of you fellow steel players care to share your settings for the Nashville 400 with the Lemay modification? Any help would be appreciated!

Mason,
I have a Sho-Bud Pro 1 (E9) and I use my Nashville 400 with the Lemay mod and these settings:
Low=+9
Mid=-6
Shift=800hz
High=+4or5
Presence=+6
Reverb=7
With my sho-bud these settings seem to take out the honk and put this great balance of highs and big sounding lows in my tone. But the most important thing about tone is: IT'S THE WAY YOU PICK IT!
good luck

Mason,
Check out the thread I started a few days ago in the Electronics section regarding the Nashville 400 Mid-Shift control; especially Carl Dixon’s explanation of the Mid-Shift control. There is, I believe, some very helpful info on starting your adjustments from a neutral base setting.

Before the Lemay mod, my settings were about the same as Mark's. Since the mod was installed I have found that it sounds better with the shift control straight up, instead of at 800.

Since you nice people are on this subject/how would you set a session-400-I only have a delay and a Lagrande. How many times does a delay repeat the note in a slow song or a fast song--"what is the norm?" Carl Dixon has helped me alot.Somebody out there has got to have the same set-up as me. Thank you---MAY GOD BLESS!
