Andy, the graphic ain't coming up on my page, but if yer talkin' about George and Carlos, heck, I was spinnin' both of their stuff in 1979. That would be more like "old home week"... My first thought was Ray Benson and Santana...now that might be more odd.

I'm not surprised this works. Their styles really complement each other, and IMO they were both mining similar pop/jazz territory in the '70s. The suits crack me up, though.

Trivia: Gabor Szabo recorded this tune before George did. Gabor was a major influence on Carlos (beyond writing "Gypsy Queen").
