I like the Dixie Chicks, and their music, and their nekkid magazine cover, and I bet they've sold more records that George Bush, Condi Rice, or Jimmy Carter. And they look better nekkid!!!
And I wish the governor of South Carolina was from Texas!

Well, they are real purty and they sing & play real good.
Besides, Jay Leno says way worse stuff about da prez - 5 nights a week.
Free speech rocks - enjoy it while you can!

I don't think anyone would argue that the Chicks are a good group but that is not the question anymore , and it really has nothing to do about the Prez either..

What it comes down to is this..

On your next gig, before you start playing..tell everyone in attendance, who paid to come dance, thru the MIC ,that you don't like the PREZ...oh and make certain that the club owner who hired you to play is right there as well before you speak...and has no clue what you are going to say before you speak. And make sure you make it clear you are speaking for the entire band...

" Your Attention please, I just want everyone to know that we....blah blah blah "

I think I would go see them if they were playing locally, not sure who's filling the Steel seat but I'll bet it's a good show...

Who is on Steel with them ?

I think Theresa has been extremely restrained. Just a single little cryptic "Chick's Ha!", and all this output.

The definition of stability: A system is stable when a vanishingly small perturbation in the system leads to vanishingly small effects. Conversely, a system is unstable when even vanishingly small perturbations lead to continuing large effects.

Based on this definition - which is the generally accepted definition of system stability - I would say that any discussions of Chicks on this forum are definitely unstable.
