Anybody heard that great album. Bakersfield Bound ? What steel playing by JD and in the mix yes !

If you want more of that stuff , check out Herb`s solo album called Lonesome Feeling (1984). JD is all over it plus some far out strinbender guitar by Bob Warford. The rhytm section is OK, too. Hal Blaine and Leland Sklar....

Bakersfield Bound has been a top 5 favorite album of mine since it came out.

Chris, Herb & JD are just so good together!

Also check out "The Window Up Above" from "One More From the Road".

I think JD plays on this song as well...

That west coast sound is the reason I started playing steel guitar. Thank you Sneaky Pete and Gram Parsons RIP. Sounds a lot more like counrty music that the Nashville stuff ?
