VERY cool.. As crazy as it seems, that one will sell big time and with bells on. There are LOTS of collectors with big,wide, deep pockets that won't even blink at the price this thing will fetch.. must be nice! bob |

Not a lot of those floating around - if any. Is this Bigsby's only acoustic mandolin? Jimmy D'Aquisto made only one mandolin (I believe). George Gruhn did an article on it in GP many years ago. |

We should probably think of this as a similar conversion as the acoustic guitars that had a Bigsby neck. Like the seller says here, the body is not made by Bigsby but possibly by Kay. All other Bigsby mandos I know of are solid bodies, or maybe it's better to say that they were neck through body like the Bigsby Spanish guitars. |
