| Nice guy, pretty good vocalist, good song writer. Most of his stuff leans a little more toward the RnR/Pop side. No steel player when they were through my neck of the woods a few months back. Think he uses a couple guitar, keys, and maybe a fiddle. |

| Chris Cagle is a self admitted 'mental case'. This is the guy on stage that has run down "Steel Guitar" in his show and has said in interviews countless times " i don't need a stinking steel guitar". |

I was on a tour bus with Chris one time and the nicest thing I can say about him is he's self-absorbed. (NOT driven)

Cagle had a song out a couple of years ago called "Chicks Dig It". I do not recall hearing a steel guitar in that song, but I dare to say that "chicks" would "dig it" more if he had incorporated a steel guitar into that song. At age 25, I am attempting to teach myself lap steel and hopefully I will be advancing on to pedal steel here in another year or two. With that in mind, I have discovered that most people, especially in my age category, have no idea what a steel guitar is nor what it sounds like. At first glance, they immediately fall in love with the instrument, the quality sound it provides, and the history behind the instrument. Nashville record executives need to return to New York City and let the fiddles and steel guitars become vibrant in Country music once again. Chris Cagle may very well be one of th guys that Alan Jackson and George Strait were singing about in their hit song "Murder on Music Row". Sorry for being so long-winded; I seem to be pretty good at that. Y'all take care!

| Right on about the younger people. I was tuning for an outdoor gig in Villa Rica, GA no too long ago and a couple of teen guys came over and asked me what is that thing. So I told them and then I played a few licks with lots of voice and they really liked it and hung around and watched me play for the rest of the gig. They told me later that they were rock guitar players in a little garage band and wanted to know where I was going to be next so they could hear more. |
