How you doing Charles. What part of Ms. are you from. I live just east of Seminary myself in Covington Co. Your at the right age if your interested in learning steel guitar. I started lap steel at about 10 years old. Moved up to pedal steel at 14. Still playing and learning at 47. It's easier to learn at a young age because you can devote your time to practicing. When you get older then you have kids,a wife and two or three jobs to worry about and keep up with. If your interested in steel guitar I'll help you anyway I can. Get your folks to bring you to some of the steel shows in either Magee or Gulfport. Either show is excellent. I'll even let you sit down and play my steel if your interested. Good luck little buddy!
