I was having a conversation about this with a certain well recorded guy in Nvl lately, and I think both of us agreed that one thing that is SORELY lacking in "today's" country music is "The Novelty Tune".

There are several songs out there rght now that I consider "the Dumbest" contenders.
One being "Trying to find the perfect man is like trying to find Atlantis." I'd probably like the video better..
With some of this latest raft of female singers, I'm tempted to say that they all sound acceptably good vocal wise, and I can now pick for the one with the least bushwhipped body, and nicest smile, and nobody will think less of my motives.
I've always been a Carlene Carter fan.
