I was planning on heading to the Museum of Modern Art but then I found out that there would be no steel guitar so I said "no steel, no......"

Gotta love people stuck in their own private ghettos.

I was thinking of vacationing in Bali this year but found out there were no local steel players, so... I'm heading to Cleveland instead.

Art writing sure is silly !
If I get the chance to meet Donald Kuspit I'll tell him my newest piece is called "Bloody Sanches" and then I'll punch him in the nose. He could fill maybe 4 or 5 pages up with his pompous drivel about that.

Ouch! Image

As I look outside at the snow (supposed to be 6-10 inches today) I really wish my wife had taken a job somewhere in Texas instead of Cleveburgh!

A display of "modern art"? You probably didn't miss much. I believe "Modern Art" has best been described as art..."made by the untalented, sold by the unscrupulous, to the uninformed, for unspeakable amounts".

Both Picasso and Barnum knew there was one born every minute! Image

Why not find a PSG that looks like it's beyond repair and turn it into a piece of modern art? But don't call it a 'steel'. Call it something else, and let the modern art enthusiasts try to 'interpret' what it is supposed to represent.

Gave up on the Museum of Modern Art years ago - but wondering if the Guggenheim can be turned into a spiral pickup and strung accordingly. Best to all for the Holidays.
