Actually,he's heard but not seen on Reba's new single and video,"He Gets That From Me."You have to listen closely, because it's only a "cameo" appearance. He plays the gut-string solo and the fills on the section following it.But I'm still thankful for the fact that he's getting a chance to be heard
in the media for the first time in quite a while.Hopefully, the song will be a hit,and the phone will be ringing for work.

Hey, Theresa, I saw the video and heard Gregg's guitar solo. "He Gets That From Me" is an awesome song and it's got awesome guitar parts. I listened for Gregg's solo when I saw the video this afternoon. Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel

I have emailed Gregg privately on occasion and told him my opinion of his guitar playing, however, I am not sure I have ever expressed it here on the forum. I think he is an absolutely incredible guitar player. I have never heard him play anything I didn't like. I have some guitar heroes who can play extremely well in the jazz idiom, others who can play country licks, etc., but for all around playing, I would think Gregg would be almost impossible to beat. His playing on all the Swing Shift albums is out of this world. I have some friends who have a local gospel group that had the opportunity to cut an album with Larry Crook a few years ago. The guitar player chosen for the session - Mr. Galbraith. He played the entire spectrum of gospel music tastefully. I have heard his playing on 'pure' country songs and he is right on the money. He plays the music and genre of each song rather than imposing his particular 'style' on the song and making it fit. In addition, he is incredibly nice and returns your emails with 'real' answers and not just some inane 'Me big HERO, you little fan' tripe.
