| ...ok,maybe I got the title wrong...but it's close...I've heard this record several times on XM...I've started trying to chase down a lot of stuff I hear on there,and so far so good,but the Johnny Seay CDs I have seen don't have this tune...Steve |

| Steve, the song is titled "Three Six-Packs, Two Arms, and a Juke-Box". It's a Johnny Seay composition that Red Lane had out in the '70s. (I've never heard the Johnny Seay version.) |

| Thanks Donny!I didn't know Red Lane had cut the song...I saw Red at the Opry a few weeks ago...he came into the dressing room to talk to John Conlee...he is a great guy and a musician at heart...he used to play guitar with Dottie West...Jon,it's a great shuffle with lots of great steel and guitar playing...it sounds like Weldon and Grady Martin to me...Steve [This message was edited by Steve Hinson on 09 October 2004 at 12:41 PM.] |

you are close.
it is "three sixpacks, two arms, and a jukebox".
columbia 44634; a 45 rpm circa late 60s. flip side "i loved her fine for a time".
one of about a half dozen singles seay made for columbia.
damn good artist; started out around 1960 deliberately sounding like johnny cash on tunes like "standing room only" and "my baby walks all over me". later got away from the overt cash sound.
he made maybe 15 singles and 2 or 3 LPs.
