I found this page with a ton of singers, their stage names and also their real names. Pretty interesting.

Oh yeah, they list Buddy Emmons AND Lloyd Green. Pretty cool.

What kind of a list is this? It doesn't even have Robert Randolph on it!

I can kinda see why some of these folks changed their names. (Eric Clapton is really Eric Clapp?)

What do these people do for their kids' last names? Use the stage name or the real familial name?

Noel Boggs was on the list also. This seems to be a very informed chick. I'm shocked that my name wasn't on there. Richard Sinkler - Six-Pac DuJour

What ever happened to Carmol Taylor (his name was on the list, so I think this would be on topic)?

Richard,
Carmol passed away several years back after a bout with cancer. A great writer, and a good singer as well. He and my dad were good friends, and I remember Carmol from back when I was a kid.

Why on earth you someone change their name from Arnold George Dorsey to Engelbert Humperdink?? Shoot, I'd change it the other way if it were up to me!

Well, think of it this way: which name are you more likely to remember: "Arnold George Dorsey" or "Engelbert Humperdink"?? I rest my case!
