This morning I saw the Porter Wagoner show and Red Sovine was the guest. I have heard his songs down through the years but that was the first time I had ever seen what he looked like. His songs really reach in and grab the heart strings of an individual. His truck driving songs such as "Teddy Bear" are excellent songs. You can catch the Porter Wagoner show on RFD Network on sattelite as well as some other great country music shows from years ago.

Gotta bug my cable company to get that RFD. As cornball as some of Red Sovine's songs are, I confess that I get a little tight in the throat when he puts that little "teardrop" in his voice.
