| Thinking about getting a satellite radio, as far as I am aware there is just Sirius and XM but I guess there could be others. Anybody have enough experience with either to say which one may have better coverage? How about which might have better programming? |

| I have recently purchased a Sirius radio. I live in the mountains in the bottom of a canyon up in NE Oregon. I get great reception and do not loose the feed. Part of my decision was that sirius is suppose to have 3 sat's up and XM only has one. Most of the truckers I talk to say that the Sirius does a little better than XM for not loosing the feed. Just my 2 cents worth. |

| I have XM in my pickup, van and home on my computer. I've had them for 2 years and love it. It has followed me from state to state on the same station, Watercolors, Jazz. It also has Bill Mack on the country station OPEN ROAD. |

XM actually has 2 satellites now, an east and a west bird, named Rock and Roll respectively. Either service is excellent in my opinion. All have good coverage.

| looks like its six of one and half a dozen of the other as my Dad used to say. My wife went ahead and bought the Sirius version so hopefully they have good programming. Thanks |

One BIG difference.
With Sirius, you get WSM live, which means you get the Grand Ole Opry & Midnight Jamboree with NO static.
