Just used the new Napster, bought an old Frank Zappa recording. (Hot Rats) It seemed to work good. I burned it to disc and it came out fine. Has anybody else used this, and if so, can you access your tracks other than using Napster? I just ripped the burned disc so I had MP3s on my computer. Many great selections on there.

I looked at Napster the other day and didn't see enough country to keep me interested. Seems as though everything is geared toward hip hop.

You can get "Steel Guitar Jazz" on CD from the Forum catalog. Plus it includes 14 more Emmons tracks that weren't on the original LP. It's a reissue of Tom Bradshaw's Steel Guitar Record Club double LP. Order item #A-056-CD, $20 postpaid.

The tough thing for the pay-to-purchase Napster service is the same as Apple Itunes music store had at first: they have to hammer out licensing and payment agreements with the labels. I think the likelihood is that hip hoppish stuff is more aware of the techno-savvy consumer, and has them as a more important part of the customer base... country labels may just be giving the services a hard time about licensing the rights for sale one piece at a time.
