Does anyone remember a singer around the Memphis area in the mid 50's by that name, or what ever happend to him?

There was a singer in the 50's with the name Bud Deckelman. A German private label called "Cattle Records" had an LP out in the early 80's. Don't know more details.

Roy,

Browsing through an old record catalog from 1979 I found an LP record by Bud Deckelman called "Daydreamin' with Bud". The label was an obscure German re-release label called Barnyard Records, the material comes mostly from the mid-50's (I think it was originally recorded for MGM. Just for your information, here are the songs on the album:

I Done Fell To Her
As Long As I Can Dream
I Gotta Find A Way
I Love You So
It's Great To Be Living
What Is It Darling
I Love You Still
No One Dear But You
I'd Only Be Acting A Fool
For So Long
Waitin'
Fallin', Fallin', Fallin'
Daydreamin'
Let's Not Pretend
Let's Do It Up
What's The Use To Take You Back Again

That's all the info I have, no idea who's playing or what the style is.

Kind Regards, Walter

Roy,
Bud Deckelman was a singer at the "Linden circle Theatre",here in Memphis Back in the years mentioned above.
He recorded quiet a number of singles, not sure about albums.
One of the steel players there was Earl Logan and,
If I'm not mistaken,, John Hughey played there also,

Bud passed away a few years ago.
Maybe John will see this and confirm or straighten me out on this.

Not sure who played on his records, maybe John ???

HOO-RAY...
That is the one I am looking for. And the song that keeps going thru my head was "DAYDREAMING". Sure would like to get hold of a copy of that. Anyone got one for sale or know where I can find one?

I don't remember the "Linden", but I sure remember the Eagles Nest, Rock House and West Memphis. Boy, what memories!

Thanks to all for the responses.
Roy
