Does anybody remember No more one-more-time. That song made me
. . . ok, I'll say it. It made me have to fan myself. I know, who'd have thought??? And does anyone know what's happened to Jo-El?

He used to live in L.A. in the mid 80s and I picked with him a few times at the Palomimo, etc. He's been in and around Nashville a few times but the last I heard(which was a few years ago)he was back in Bogalusa. He is a brilliant musician and a sweet cat but he sure has a strange way of talkin'. He once told me in his Cajun accent: "Hey man I like da way you play - you leavin' out some beeootiful notes!"

My introduction to him was a cover of Richard Thompson's "Tear Stained Letter". It'll get you off of your butt, gar-un-teed!
