Wayne Hancock: Touring w/ steel?

I heard that Wayne is no longer touring with a steel player. Has anyone caught one of his recent shows?

I opened up for him last Friday at the Continental Club, he had 2 guys with Teles with him, one of them did awesome fake steel stuff. I have to admit I was disappointed when I noticed he had no steel but then..there was nothing missing. His show was very powerful !!

Wayne is always on the road, so his band changes all the time. Hit or miss. I've seen with a backing duo or trio.
