I've just heard a great new COUNTRY CD..."The Way It Used To Be"by Anita Anderson...it features John Hughey on steel and my hero Gregg Galbraith on electric guitar, along with more of Nashville's finest(too numerous to mention). It's filled with songs like"A Way to Survive" and"Put It Off Until Tomorrow"...12 great songs in all!The e-mail address is:AnitaHitSong@aol.com...I'm not sure what they are getting for these, but whatever it is,it's a bargain! The playing AND singing are GREAT!Support the arts-get a copy of this record!
[This message was edited by Steve Hinson on 29 June 2003 at 07:57 PM.]

[This message was edited by Steve Hinson on 29 June 2003 at 10:34 PM.]

Steve, I'm assuming this is Eddie Anderson's wife (former Patty Loveless drummer). I have known Anita for a number of years. She always reminded me of Connie Smith. She is a great country singer. I usually see her at the Elm Hill Pike Legion on Thursday night when I'm in Nashville.

Yes Kevin,Anita is Eddy's wife...Robert,I will check on ordering information for you and e-mail you(or the Andersons will).I will say this again-and I'm guilty of it too-a lot of people complain that there's no new country music to buy...trust me,there's plenty! You just have to go to a little more trouble...this is a great CD!

Thanks Steve, I sure agree that there is a lot of GOOD country out there,I have seen Anita several times and she knows how to sing a country song. I saw her with Connie Smith on the midnight jamboree and she was awsome.I also saw her at the southern Il. steel guitar jamboree/with Ernie Rowell and her husband Eddy on drums they were great! Her Gospel C.D. does not have steel on it but she made it sound great anyway! Thanks for the help,I am anxious to get her country C.D

This is indeed some terrific music! I was fortunate to obtain a copy a few weeks back and have lost track of how many times I've played it. I agree with Steve on the stellar playing by Gregg and John Hughey, and would like to add that David Smith does a knockout job on upright.

Steve Hinson, thanks to you I have Anita's C.D. and all I can say is WOW!!!! now thats country the way it's supposed to be! What a great singer she is, and she is just as nice too,I was in Nashville last week for the CAAS show and contacted her and purchased her C.D. there are 12 great songs on there and cut#11 alone is worth the price of the C.D. I got goose bumps listening to that song WOW!!!
John & Gregg & David & David & all the other musicians were great too---- go get this C.D. if you like country!
