Electric guitar builders locally

I'm in the market for an electric guitar and would like to have something built by a local builder in the Nashville area. While I would prefer Nashville, anywhere in TN, S. KY, N.Ala. would be ok as well. If anyone has personal experience with builders, or otherwise has someone they could recommend, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
