was on vacation in the northwoods of Wisconsin last week, saw an ad for a live band appearing Friday night the 9th so my wife and I went to see Asleep at the Wheel.
WOW, great Big Jim Murphy has a clean bill of health on his cancer. Played double neck stand up steel and pedal steel and sax.
Ray Benson was doing his normal fine work, the only other names I really heard were Jason Roberts good singer and fiddler and his friend Haydn Vitera fiddler and great singer. It was their normal great show. Lot of fun. Thanks again for Western-Texas Swing.

That is GREAT news, I am glad he is doing OK.
By the way if anyone has a way of contacting Murph , please tell him that some friends in Colorado , Wanda and Donnie Duncan want him to contact them, so they can find out how he is???
