What would C.M.T. Top 40 list be if it was 1963, 40 years ago? I know there was no C.M.T. then but if there was would they list--Webb Pierce, Buck Owens, and not Red Foley or Ernie Ford , what a out cry there would be protesting on the streets. Why they picked Sonny James over Uncle Jimmey Thompson( The Opry's first performer) Sonny, not even country they would be saying. Need more greats from the 1920,s 30,s not the new be what a be's of today(1963).Joe
