I'm currently interviewing for a contract-to-hire job in Kansas City and was wondering what the music scene is like there.
What is the diversity of music? Steel? Singer-songwriter, blues, rock?

According to fellow forum member Stephen Gambrell, KC has "some of the best Jazz in the country." Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about steel or other forms of music. Perhaps somebody from, or familiar with, KC could chime in.

You can find good ole country music with plenty of steel in KC
