Since I have to come up with some steel backup for Buck Owens "Act Naturally",
I would like to know if any of you know of
a rendition with steel backup on it??
Thanks in advance.

Don't know of a steel version, though there probably is one. Try making one of your own up. Not to be a wisecracker, but that's probably how a steel player would have done it on a steel backed version. It's just a thought.

Buck Owens Live at Carnegie Hall - First cut. Of course, Tom only plays fills.

Thanks for the input.
I know I should sit down and work it out for myself and that is what I have tried to do but in this case I`m simply stuck.
I was in the studio cutting a demo with my band yesterday and I was awful. Everything I did stunk and none of the fills sounded right.
So I just needed to hear what the real pros
do with this song.

Ricky, thanks for the lick.
I`ll try it as soon as I get home from work.
Just ordered the Buck Owens live CD and also
the Jerry Brightman CD. Looking forward to listen to both.

Add the B pedal to Ricky's lick for a small variation.

Buddy Emmons takes a great ride on this on 'George Jones - Live at Dancetown USA'...

I think he goes to the 7 chord a la "Sugarfoot Rag"... pretty great.
