The wife needs a bass guitar pickup. Is there a major difference in them? Are there any available? Thanks again for any response. Harold Jack Baker

Harold, yes , there are many different Bass pickups out there, single pole, humbuckers, vintage..etc..for all types of Basses. All different prices as you could expect.

You can check out a local music store of size, Musicians Friend on the Internet and even EBAY.

You might also check out the Carvin product line, they have active and passive variations and you can buy just the parts you need. I think their stuff is underrated.
