Faked Out

I thought i discovered a talented new artist over at MP3.com. It took me about 20 minutes of investigating to realize all the tunes were done by a demo service. The artist only supplied the music and lyrics. The playing is not spectacular which makes this more disturbing.

What's the deal with MP3.com, anyway?

Has anybody found much worth listening to there?

I poked around once (a few months ago), but didn't really find much.

If only there were a way to program a computer to KNOW what kind of music I like, then have it deliver it to me for me to make a purchase decision.
