John Prine needs to stick with the college circuit, and Charlie Pride is in bad need of Pro Tools, the steel player sounded good though. Kind of a bad night in Nashville. |

You got to be kidding! First of all, Loren Nelson w/ Tracy Lawrence sounded great, "what a great ride Loren" The gentleman with Jeff Carson sounded good, Ronnie Miller,w/ Charlie Pride, sounded good as usual! Im not a John Prine fan, but I thought he did pretty good, I say "Best show in quite a while!" But then I watch to see the steel action! Loren is another, from a very long list of great players, from, Minnesota! Also he's playing the Loafer I sold him! Lets get Real! au |

"Great job, Loren Nelson!" (steel player for Tracy Lawrence). No re-hashed "Mooney" licks or "Pete Drake" slides. Just good solid picken'.
Tracy has a really good band by todays standards.
"Hot" guitar playing by Dan Drilling of the Jimmy C. band, along with the fiddle work of Kenny Sears. Cudos! aaayeeee!
That was Tim Lusby on steel with Jeff Carson and "Lucky" on fiddle, both from Darryl Singletary fame.
John Prine was...well...John Prine! What you see is what you get. At least he is consistant.
Good to see Ron Miller was still with Charlie Pride. Anybody who can hang in there with Charlie's "pitch" get's my vote.
Well, there's my opinions (revues?, for what there worth. Opinions are like "b***holes". Everybodys' got one!

I feel left out as I missed it all with the exception of Tracy Lawrence. My brother in law pulled out in front of a car and got broadsided and my sister called me in the middle of Tracy's second number to come get her and I had to go. I thought he could have waited until after 8PM to get hit but you know how inlaws can be sometimes! Sounds like I missed a good show. What did you like Theresa? I know, Del wasn't on again but he will be back! |

Mike,
I enjoyed Tracy & Jeff the most! Good sounding bands and plenty of steel
Charlie has a "pitch problem" his band did a fine job! Theresa |
