Mark--I was happy to see you are booked at Schuba's Tavern in Chicago, but then I realized I also have a show that night. I think this is the 2nd time you've swung through town on a night that I'm playing. Don't you know you're supposed to check with me before booking your gigs? Image Schuba's is a wonderful room. Small, with a great vibe.

One of these days I'll catch your show. Hope your tour goes well.

Hi there! I'm only a hundert miles north of Eugene. As the date gets closer, give me an email. I'd enjoy meeting and talking with you. I play a Ric, 7=stringer, JB style and Billy Robinson too.

Hey Mark--

An impressive itinerary! Please let me know, via email or the Forum, the next time you are playing in or near Gainesville, FL.

And yes, it is all sacred.

Hi Mark. I'll be playing at the High Sierra Festival as well. I think we play Monday the 3rd of July on the Americana stage at 2:15 PM. Buckeye is the name of the band I'll be with. I'll be looking for you.

Huge thanks to all of you who came out to talk steel- we had a great tour which regretfully ended just 5 miles short of the Oregon country Fair in a Nasty Bus Crash with an 18 Wheel Gravel Truck. Our poor Silver Eagle is totalled but no one was hurt and we're all home safe, picking up the pieces. Anybody got a line on a used Bus?

hi mark,

sorry to hear about your crash. wanted to make it to see you at high sierra but no chance. enjoying the gretsch lap i got from you. used it on a little recording. did some speedy slaps with it to mime the sound of a hammond organ. good luck finding a new bus.
