I rarely bother with the turntable anymore, but every once in a while the urge moves me.

This past weekend was one such occasion. I spent a couple hours with the stereo blaring out these:

Johnny Bush – Whiskey River, There Stands the Glass
Tony Booth -- When A Man Loves A Woman (The Way That I Love You)
Conway Twitty – Linda On My Mind
Merle Haggard – Rainbow Stew (Live at Anaheim Stadium)

On steel that includes: Weldon Myrick, Jay Dee Mannes (I don’t know the spelling for sure, but I’m fairly certain about the playing) , John Hughey and Norm Hamlet.

Boy, oh boy! I'd sure like to find some of these original albums on CD.

Thanks for the tip. I bought one titled "Whiskey River" about a year ago, but it's not the same as "Whiskey River / There Stands The Glass". I see they list both at Ernest Tubb...
