Dennis, you're probably aware of this fact but most of the Forumites probably aren't... John 5 is absolutely one of the best "country" guitarists on the planet!!!... He's mostly known for his rock and shred work with Rob Zombie and others of that ilk but he's really respectful of country guitarists and can keep up with any of 'em... He has albums where he does country instrumentals and really smokes 'em... He's a fan of people like Jimmy Bryant, Roy Clark, Albert Lee, Joe Maphis and other hot hillbilly pickers.......JH in Va.

I read an interview with Mr. 5, and he said that his earliest influences were Chet Atkins and Earl Scruggs.
