Eddie! As I said Definately Day, Actually Day cut Crazy Arms with Price at least that far back. Were talkin 58,59 60,61. I played a ton of gigs with Marvin in those days & a few later on. Al = P.S. Check out a Price album W/Day called San Antonio Rose W/ Jimmy all over it! 1960-61,62?

Listed Jimmy as the player on the clip for that on the 1957 page on Ricky and I's site, with credit to you.

Al, in my estimation this was Jimmy Day at his peak on the "San Antonio Rose" album. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe it was all done on the E9th tuning and it realy did "swing."

Jim! I first worked with Rainwater in 58, I think if he had a song with the words "Steel Guitar" in it, I would have played it a jillion times! Sounds just like something that Slim Whitman would have done? Theres got to be At least one Slim fan, And He or She should know! Al Udeen

Hey Al, I was a little confused because I thought Bluebird was before Crazy Arms.
