I posted in Bar Chatter about the SHeDAiSY live concert recently broadcast on "All Access" in which Paul F. was highly audible, visible and happening.
About the women themselves...there are three of them and they're sisters, they don't really sound country to me, but hardly anything does right now.
They seemed a little stiff, their choreography looked forced and they didn't really engage the audience, but I understand they're very popular.
They remind me more of the singing sisters groups of the '40s and '50s like the Andrews or the Lemons than a country act.
But their shoes really scare me.
They wear huge platform shoes like the guys in Kiss - they kind that went out with Elton John in the '70s. What's up with that?

I have never heard or seen them yet. I would also be falling all over the stage. I just got my first pair of cowboy boots last year
and they were not the ones with heels or tight toes.

I noticed in their video that each of them contort or squint their faces frequently when singing. I thought it peculiar that all three of them did this. But if they're sisters, which I didn't realize , then maybe it's a family trait.
[This message was edited by Gord Cole on 18 February 2000 at 10:18 AM.]

The sweethearts of Utah...
That squinty eye thing- kind of like there in pain, your right...it's an inbred thing.

Lots of turkey farmers here do it. Next thing you know the turkeys start to doin' it.

All us folks here in eutah do it. You can too...when urin-eutah. It's fun!
[This message was edited by Mac Lloyd on 21 February 2000 at 11:02 AM.]

i just figure shedaisy is just one of the twenty-five acts released this week, we will have twenty-five different ones to choose from next week. maybe some will be cold hard kick a$$ country, sales is down they say by about 25 %. I'll bet George Jones sales are as good as they all ways was!!!!!!!!. notice the TIME CD release is probably making more money off the oldies than nashville's making off of their one hit wonders. i was a wal-mart the other day and the shelf was full and i do mean full of the old what we all know as country music cd's.
