I used epoxy to repair those 3 tuner buttons that broke got the tuners put back on put on new strings tuned her up to C6th and WOW!!!

This steel sounds so sweet!! The electronics are dead quiet zero noise. It sounds completly different than the 50's bakelite Ric I used to own the bakelite one would distort alot more and had a more rock sound than this one does. This one is really clean and clear and sorta reminds me of a dobro and steel guitar sound combined.

It really sounds like its ment for hawaiian music more than anything else.

So I'm a very happy camper. Now my only problem is I'm legally blind and this steel is so shiny I'm having a hard time seeing the small black fret position markers, Hopefully I'll get used to it.

I also found a really neat steel bar in the compartment of the case its the smallest one I have ever seen it says national usa on the end and is only 1/2" in diameter.

Now I got to learn some Hawaiian music cause this sounds so good for that style.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to start?

Right now Im in C6th CEGACE.
