How would you extend the Leavitt tuning for an 8 string lap steel? Any ideas are welcome. I greatly appreciate the Ihde and Beaumier arrangements - fine work. Thanks. - Bob

Apparently you add a low Eb and C to get

Eb, C, C#, E, G, Bb, C, D

I haven't tried it yet... I just yesterday decided to change my 6-str National New Yorker to Leavitt... LOVE IT!

When I get home (I'm at work now) I'm going to change one of the necks on my Fender Stringmaster and see how that low end works out.
