2001 Carter D10 BCT 8 + 7

Post by John McGann »

LAST PRICE DROP $2200 shipped and insured. This is a great deal on a near mint 8 x 7 D10 with TrueTones, custom made cover...

2001 Carter D10 BCT 8 + 7, purchased here on the Forum in 2003. Excellent condition, no dings or scratches, I keep it polished and it looks great.
Looks like the one on Tommy White's recent CD. I believe it is called Black Pearlwood (grey woodgrain). See photos below.

I took it to Tommy Cass to have the Emmons changes added to the C6th side. The E9 is as stock. I also added TrueTone pickups which (to my ears) was a vast upgrade.
I put in $150 for the TrueTone pickups; 2 extra knees and 2 extra pulls on p4 $530 installed. I switched p4 on the C6th to the "Jernigan change"- complete copedant here.
Right knees work both E9th and C6th, and are quite smooth. Of course, it includes the original case, manual, leg pouch etc. I will include a nice Elephant Grey matching cover made by Forumite Gary Preston.

I am selling it to finance a Zum. No trades please.

Photos were taken BEFORE TrueTones installed. She looks as good now as then. VOLUME PEDAL NOT INCLUDED.

Price is $2200 SHIPPED AND INSURED. LAST PRICE DROP.

No, only the changes listed are on the guitar- I used a setup template that had more on it than I have on the guitar, which is why they are blank. Sorry for the confusion!

No 2nd vertical. The only changes on the guitar are LISTED (in other words, where changes are indicated) on the above copedant. Nothing extra. Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

7 levers- 5 work on the E9 and 4 on the C6th. Both right knees work both necks. All very smooth!
